The AMaRS project is not currently active and is not taking new sighting reports. Information about the project is presented here for historical purposes.

Red FoxThank you for helping us learn more about red foxes on Prince Edward Island.

Your input gives us invaluable information about where red foxes live on the Island. Now we’d like to learn more about the diet of PEI’s urban foxes, and where they make their homes.

Research like this cannot happen without funding. A small donation from you could go a long way to improve our understanding of the population and behaviour of one of PEI’s largest predators.

How can you help?

You can help by making a donation at upei.ca/donate. Donors of $10 or more will receive a charitable tax-receipt from UPEI.

How much money are we trying to raise?

Our goal is to raise $5188.

What will the money pay for?

The money will help pay for equipment, such as trail cameras and GPS collars to help us monitor the activities of red foxes around known den sites.

How do I donate?

Simple! Visit upei.ca/donate. In the drop down menu that asks for you to designate your gift, select A Designated Project of My Choice (see image below), and don't forget to specify UPEI FOX PROJECT. It's easy!

Designate your gift.

* US/International donors are asked to please contact Kim Roach in the UPEI Advancement office (karoach@upei.ca * 902-894-2888) to ensure that you receive a tax receipt for your gift.

How can I keep track of the research, and how much money you’ve raised?
